  • 1 lb. lean ground beef
  • 4 tsp minced ginger
  • 6 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup low sodium soy sauce
  • 1/2 cup beef broth
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 6 tbsp hoisin sauce
  • 12 oz Linguine noodles
  • Garnish: diced green onions and toasted sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. In a medium skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef with minced ginger and garlic until fully cooked. Drain excess fat.
  2. Boil salted water in a pot and cook Linguine noodles until al dente.
  3. In a small bowl, mix soy sauce, beef broth, brown sugar, red pepper flakes, black pepper, and hoisin sauce. Pour over the cooked beef and stir well.
  4. Sauté for about three minutes on low heat to meld flavors.
  5. Add the drained noodles to the skillet and mix well until coated with the sauce. Heat through for another couple of minutes.
  6. Serve topped with diced green onions and toasted sesame seeds.
