Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup butter
  • ¾ cup cocoa powder
  • 4 large eggs
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ⅓ cup white chocolate chips (melted)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 9×13 inch baking pan with foil and spray it with cooking spray.
  2. In a medium saucepan over low heat, melt the butter and stir in the cocoa powder until combined. Set aside to cool slightly.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, beat together eggs, sugar, and vegetable oil until light and foamy. Stir in the cooled butter-cocoa mixture and vanilla extract until smooth.
  4. In another bowl, mix flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add this to the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for about 25-30 minutes. A toothpick should come out clean when done. Allow cooling before cutting into squares.
  6. For decoration, pipe melted white chocolate onto each brownie square in a spider web pattern.
